Although I am majorly fond of Bowser's Castle (N64) too. I love the sense of speed you feel racing down that track.ĭK Mountain is indeed friggin' awesome. Being shot out of the barrel cannon was such a cool thing at the time. It's just a boring track that I felt like I ended up playing way too much of between those two games and now I can't stand it.įavorite: DK Mountain (Double Dash). Least Favorite: Yoshi Falls (DS and Wii). The aesthetic blandness and non-Mario feel of it make it less than endearing, but the annoying non-kart vehicles that roam around put it over the top (or maybe under the bottom, in this case.). Two things make this track jump out as an unwanted experience.

Least Favorite: Toad's Turnpike from Mario Kart 64. When I think about the quintessential Mario Kart experience from my salad days, I always think about epic Grand Prix outings that culminated in tense races on this track with perfection as the only option to put my nemesis in his place. To that end.įavorite: Rainbow Road from Super Mario Kart. I'll try not to think about this too hard, and instead go with my gut instinct. the original Rainbow Road, Luigi's Mansion, and Piranha Plant Slide to name a few.

I have such fond memories of Moo Moo Farm (no idea why), and I absolutely hated the Donut Plains 3 from Super Mario Kart.įavorites? Hmm. Obviously, it's the last course in the game so of course it's going to be tough, but that doesn't mean I have to like it! I don't like the one for SNES though because there are no ledges, and that makes the track tough. Least favorite.the Rainbow Road courses are awesome and overall I don't have a problem with them. That was always awesome to me for some reason. The battle courses also wont be listed because Mario Kart 8. All of Mario Kart 8s new courses wont be listed also because reasons. None of Arcade GPs courses will be listed, because reasons. What I liked to do in GP mode was to get the lightning item, and just as I finish jumping over, I'd use the item and watch as the usual other 4 people that placed highly fall way back to an earlier part of the course. Were going to set aside the fact that (almost) ALL of Super Mario Kart was technically remade in Mario Kart: Super Circuit. For those who remember, there was a point in the track where you had to jump over a big ledge to land on the other side. My favorite track is Wario Stadium in Mario Kart 64. I can't get enough of that in the N64 and DS versions. If you want to race on the Classic SNES tracks that you play on in the single cart link mode while in 1P mode, all you need to do is complete each circuit with at least 125 coins collected and. I don't know if I have a favorite track, but my absolute favorite battle mode arena is Block Fort. Once you have unlocked the SNES tracks in 150cc you will then be able to play through them in the Time Trail mode. What are your favorite and least favorite Mario Kart tracks?
